Bruins' Win is a Classic

The UCLA men's basketball team defeated DePaul 72-54 in the annual John Wooden Classic, with Wooden in attendance to watch the game. It was also Bruin coach Ben Howland's 300th career win, combining his totals from UCLA, Pittsburgh, and Northern Arizona. The Bruins had 18 total assists, and held the Blue Demons to just 19 field goals. Both Jrue Holiday and Josh Shipp scored 14 points for the Bruins. Mac Koshwal led DePaul with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
