Kings Lose Ground with Loss

The Los Angeles Kings fell to the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1, preventing them from rising in the standings. Patrick Sharp and Martin Havlat both scored two goals for Chicago, who snapped a 5-game winless streak. Drew Doughty scored the lone goal for LA, as the Kings were out-shot 32-15. Jonathan Quick made 28 saves for the Kings, but could not arrive soon enough as two of the Blackhawks' goals were empty-netters. Nikolai Khabibulin made 14 saves for Chicago.
