Editor's Note: Get Inside

The Lakers faltered in another Game 4 opportunity to take a strangle hold on their rival, this time collapsing to the Denver Nuggets. The key flaw was clear from the very beginning: rebounds. Denver had complete control over the glass, grabbing 58 boards as opposed to LA's 40. The offensive rebounds were even worse, as the Nuggets grabbed a total of 20. The Lakers must improve their inside presence if they want to win Game 5. Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum both were out-hustled and lost on the court, and Lamar Odom was a non-factor throughout the game. Chris Andersen exploited LA's front-court, something he cannot be allowed to do again. The Lakers have to do anything to keep Denver from succeeding inside, even if it means using DJ Mbenga. Right now, the Lakers have to find a way to take a 3-2 lead in this series, and not go into Denver on the brink of elimination.
