Kings Fly By Philadelphia

The Los Angeles Kings defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in a shootout, returning to .500. Goalie Jonathan Quick stopped 31 of 32 shots in his first overtime game and shootout of his career. Quick also did not allow any SO goals. Dustin Brown and Patrick O'Sullivan scored shootout goals to give the Kings the win after Wayne Simmonds scored a power-play goal to tie the game in the second period. Scott Hartnell scored a goal in the second period to give the Flyers a brief 1-0 lead.
