Manny Rejects Offer

Manny Ramirez has rejected the Dodgers' latest offer of two years, $45 million (the second year being a player option in spirit) according to the team. Owner Frank McCourt appears to have given up on pleasing the slugging left-fielder, and will wait for agent Scott Boras to make the first move after he receives offers from other clubs. GM Ned Colletti has said the contract is still on the table and has no definite timetable.
