Kings Get Black Eye

The Los Angeles Kings fell to the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2, their fifth loss in six games. Chicago scored 3 goals in the first period while the Kings scored 2. Goalie Jonathan Quick could only make 34 saves on 38 shots, and the Kings took just 24 shots, 22 of which were stopped. Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith, and Dustin Byfuglien each scored in the first period. Anze Kopitar and Jack Johnson both scored goals for LA.
