Kings Get Stung in Shutout

The Los Angeles Kings were defeated by the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-0, their 16th loss of the season. Rookie-goalie Steve Mason made 24 saves for Columbus, and Kris Russell scored a power-play goal to give the Blue Jackets the win. Goalie Jonathan Quick made another start for the Kings, making 23 saves in 24 opportunities.

Kings Make Quick Win

The Los Angeles Kings defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-0, returning to .500. The win was a first for goalie Jonathan Quick, as well as the shutout, who made 24 saves. Patrick O'Sullivan scored a goal and provided an assist, and Peter Harold and Raitis Ivanans scored their first goals of the season.

Kings Shutdown Columbus

The Los Angeles Kings defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-0, snapping a 3-game losing streak. Jason LaBarbera had his fourth career shutout, making 23 saves. The Jackets actually out-shot LA 23-18, but 3 of those 18 went into the net, making all the difference. Anze Kopitar, Wayne Simmonds and Kyle Calder each scored a goal for the Kings.
