Kings Lose in Wacky Third

The Los Angeles Kings fell to the Vancouver Canucks 4-2, and remain 5 points out of playoff contention. Vancouver scored two goals in the first period, and after the Kings tied the game in the third, scored two more goals to win the game. Alexander Frolov and Anze Kopitar both had goals in the third to tie the game, but Jonathan Quick could not stop the Canucks from scoring. Both third period goals for Vancouver came from Henrik Sedin. Quick made 28 saves, but LA could not score on Roberto Luongo, who stopped 24 of the Kings' 26 shots.
