Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart died in a car accident early this morning. Adenhart was just 22 years old, and had made his first start of the season yesterday, throwing six shutout innings against the Oakland Athletics. Adenhart was killed after a drunk driver ran a red-light early morning in Fullerton, crashing into his car. Two other passengers in the car were killed instantly, with the fourth man still in critical condition. My condolences go out to Adenhart's family, the three other victims' families, and the entire Angel organization.
