Clippers Lose To Fourth-Quarter Doldrums

The Los Angeles Clippers fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 87-77, their 60th loss of the season. The Clips shot just .358 from the field, taking 31 3-point tries while only hitting 9 of them. LA had only 6 turnovers, and Minnesota out-rebounded the Clippers 62-34. Entering the fourth quarter trailing only by 11 points, the Clippers scored just 15 points while the Wolves had 14. Eric Gordon led the Clips with 28 points, and Brian Skinner had 16 points and 14 rebounds off the bench. Ryan Gomes led the way for the T-Wolves with 24 points and 13 rebounds, and former Bruin Kevin Love added 13 points and 15 rebounds. LA was without Mardy Collins, Marcus Camby, Ricky Davis, and Al Thornton due to health issues, and Zach Randolph due to his suspension.

Clippers Feel Rocky-Mountain Low

The Los Angeles Clippers fell to the Denver Nuggets 120-102, their 58th loss of the season. Denver had a .531 shooting percentage, along with 11-for-22 shooting from 3-point range. The Clips were missing Chris Kaman, Marcus Camby, Mardy Collins, Ricky Davis, and Al Thornton to different injuries. The Nuggets scored at least 30 points in the first three quarters. Zach Randolph led the shorthanded LA with 22 points and 12 rebounds. DeAndre Jordan came off the bench to score 21 points and grab 8 rebounds. J.R. Smith led Denver with 34 points off the bench, and Carmelo Anthony added 18.

Clippers Can't Keep Pace

Eric Gordon and Zach Randolph both returned to the court after missing a few days, but Marcus Camby, Baron Davis, and Ricky Davis could not play. LA had a 13 point lead after halftime, but lost in the second half 55-41. The Pacers had only 9 turnovers, and the Clips shot .494 from the field. Clippers Suffer Deja Vu

The Los Angeles Clippers fell to the Phoenix Suns 142-119, the second straight day the Suns scored 140 points on LA. The Clips were without Zach Randolph, who is serving his two-game suspension after throwing a punch in Tuesday's game. The Suns shot .589 from the field, including 10-for-21 from 3-point range. LA shot .477 and turned the ball over just 8 times. Ricky Davis was ejected in the fourth quarter after taking his 2nd technical foul. Al Thornton scored 33 points, and Eric Gordon had 23. Fred Jones scored 20 points, and Baron Davis had 14 points and 7 assists. Amare Stoudemire had a game-high 42 points and 11 rebounds for Phoenix. Steve Nash had 21 points and 12 assists, and Shaquille O'Neal scored 16 points to go with 6 rebounds.

Clippers Keep Train Rolling

Clippers Break Grizzly Streak

Ricky Davis had a season-high 24 points, including 6-of-10 from 3-point range, and Eric Gordon scored 23 points for the Clips. Rudy Gay finished the game shooting 9-for-13 with 26 points for Memphis, and Mike Conley had 18 points.

The King - LeBron James - had 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Mo Williams backed him up with 23 points. Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 20 points for Cleveland. Eric Gordon continues to shine, leading the Clippers with 27 points and 7 rebounds. Steve Novak came off the bench to score 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Al Thornton scored 14 points, and Ricky Davis came off the bench with 11.

Clippers Face Harsh Reality for 33rd Time

The Los Angeles Clippers were defeated by the Golden State Warriors 107-92, their 33rd loss of the season. Only 8 players suited up for the Clips, who have been without 4 of their starters for weeks now. A .379 shooting percentage did not help matters for LA, whose 18 rebounds led to 19 Golden State points. Eric Gordon continues to play good basketball, scoring 21 points. Al Thornton followed with 17 points and 7 rebounds, and Ricky Davis had 15 points and 7 assists. DeAndre Jordan had a season-high 20 rebounds for the Clips. Ex-Clipper Corey Maggette led the Warriors with 20 points, and Anthony Morrow followed with 17.

Clips' Win Ends Streak, Camby

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, snapping a long 12-game losing streak, a streak that started with a loss to the Bucks. Unfortunately, it meant Marcus Camby had to leave the game with a sprained ankle. For the first time this season the Clips shot over 50% with .545, while holding Milwaukee to .388 shooting. Camby and Brian Skinner each scored 18 points for LA, and Ricky Davis came off the bench to get 13. Richard Jefferson finished with 26 points for the Bucks, and Michael Redd added 21 points.

Clippers Feel the Heat in Phoenix

The Los Angeles Clippers were defeated by the Phoenix Suns 106-98, their 6th straight loss. Injuries continue to plague the Clips, with Baron Davis and Mike Taylor sitting out with Zach Randolph, Ricky Davis and Chris Kaman. Jason Hart also sat out in the first quarter with elbow tendinitis. A late Clipper rally came up short after trailing by 20 in the fourth quarter. Marcus Camby continues to sizzle with 19 points and 23 rebounds and Eric Gordon scored 21 points. Al Thornton scored 15 and Fred Jones had 16. Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points to lead the Suns to their third straight victory.

League Suspends Davis

The NBA has suspended the Clippers' Ricky Davis (right) for 5 games for a drug violation. Davis, who is already out with a sore knee, must begin his suspension upon his return. Davis has only played in 13 games with the Clippers, during which he averaged 4.3 points.
