The Los Angeles Kings lost to the Phoenix Coyotes 4-2, their second defeat in as many nights. However, just like the last game, the Kings had a 3rd period lead that slipped away. This time, Alexander Frolov and Oscar Moller scored for the Kings, who had a 2-1 lead in the 3rd. Enver Lisin quickly destroyed that lead with two goals, giving Phoenix the lead for good.
