USC Sees Double (Er...Quadruple)

The USC Trojans defeated the UCLA Bruins 28-7, achieving their 7th straight Pac-10 championship, and 4th straight Rose Bowl berth, meaning the Trojans will stay at Pasadena a little while longer. Trojan QB Mark Sanchez threw for 268 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Joe McKnight ran for 99 yards with 1 TD. Kalihl Bell scored the Bruins only touchdown, coming off an early USC turnover deep in UCLA territory. Many in USC were satisfied with the win, despite not covering the 33-point spread. For Trojan seniors like Rey Maualuga and Patrick Turner, the win not only put a nice feather in their caps, it also avenged the 13-9 Bruin victory two years ago that knocked USC out of the BCS title game.
